Syncope

CASE SCENARIO

A 23year old female presents for evaluation of syncope. She has a history of schizophrenia for which she takes Ziprasidone. There have been no changes to her medication. She has no other symptoms or complaints. This it the first time she has had syncope. See EKG in case media.

QUESTION

Why did this patient have syncope?

The patient had an ischemic event (STEMI/NSTEMI)
The patient has Wolf-Parkinson White (WPW) Syndrome
The patient had an arrhythmia associated with QT prolongation
The patient is in complete heart block
