The patient states her mother developed breast cancer at the age of 55 and she concerned that this mass could be malignant. The patient is otherwise healthy and has no medical problems. She does not take any medications regularly. She is not breast-feeding. On examination you palpate a firm mass with discrete margins. The mass has no fluctuance, is non-tender, and is mobile. The patient is concerned about the possibility of cancer.
